Every Thursday, Thanksgiving

Counting thanks to 1000 and beyond…

774. A house- and pet sitting: Lucy…

775. Sam Sam…

776. Bentley…

777. Thunder and lightning in Seattle this morning. (For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we get thunderstorms maybe once every year or two, one of the things I miss about Texas and Minnesota.)

What are you thankful for this week? Might you share with us 1 or 2 gratitudes in the comments so we can rejoice with you?

Join Kimberlee and I as we give thanks on Thursdays together.

I’m thankful for the compact mud and stones wedged in the soles of my shoes from the camping trip this weekend, which remind me of the trail we trod to a lake fed by waterfalls of melting snow, of smooth stones by the river bed, of rain turning things to mud and drumming on my tent, of God’s orchestration of everything and the joys and surprises He brought to me. Thank you, God, for shoes, for reminders, for rain!
